Menya Ittou is one of the highest rated ramen restaurants on various Japanese restaurant review databases. As a result, be prepared for 3 hour long queues if you visit this highly popular ramen restaurant on holidays.

The regular ramen is great but they are famous for their tsukemen. The dipping sauce is a triumphant blend of chicken and pork broth infused with seafood dashi, with a creamy texture which is perfect for the thick cut chewy noodles. The egg is cooked to perfection, the hard white is infused with flavor and the yolk is deliciously creamy.

Instead of regular charsiu, Ittou has chosen to sous-vide their pork and chicken meat toppings instead. Cooked at carefully controlled temperatures, the meat slices are juicy, succulent and tender. If making ramen is an art, the guys at Menya Ittou are grandmasters.

If you wish to have the best tsukemen in Tokyo, Menya Ittou should be on the top of your list.

Open for lunch from 11:00-15:00 and dinner from 18:00 to 22:00. Closed on Mondays
